SPA 5: West

We are part of the Los Angeles Unified School District, Division of Adult and Career Education. We have two main campuses, Venice Skills Center and Emerson Campus as well as additional campuses across West Los Angeles. We offer low-cost classes in the following areas: CTE (Career Technical Eduction) courses designed for those who want to upgrade their job skills or train for a new career. Our CTE courses are aligned with the State of California’s CTE Industry Sectors; Adult Secondary Education / High School Diploma: classes designed for individuals who want to earn their high school diploma, study for the High School Equivalency Exam or earn high school credits. Our Parent Ed classes enable students to learn parenting skills as well as earn high school credits. Concurrently enrolled high school students do not pay enrollment fees; and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes designed for people who are new to speaking English or who want to improve their English speaking skills.
